Who Are We? Turners Flower Exports was formed in 2000 - a combination of the flower export divisions of Turners and Growers and Fresh Cut Exports Ltd. Turners and Growers is the largest, and one of the most well-known, marketing companies in New Zealand of both cut flowers, and fruit and vegetables. Floramex, the largest auction and brokerage company for cut flowers in New Zealand, is also a division of Turners and Growers. Turners Flower Exports Ltd specialises in providing premium quality cut flowers to our international markets. Markets Turners Flower Exports has developed into one of the key exporters of New Zealand cut flowers to international markets. Our markets include Japan, Asia, Europe and North America. We constantly strive to perfect the service we provide, as well to increase the number of markets we supply. Growers and Production The New Zealand climate is a varied one. In southern regions, it can become quite cold and, as a result, those temperatures are most suitable for crops that require cooler conditions and winter chilling. In northern regions of the country, the climate can range from drier to more sub-tropical temperatures, allowing for the production of a different range of flowers. Location Our Auckland office and cool store facilities are based close to the Auckland International Airport. At this location we can consolidate our shipments and complete final quality checks immediately before a shipment is despatched to its international destination.
